Terms & Conditions

Quotations are provided free of charge following a site visit or a description of the work required. A quotation is valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise in writing. Prices may change if the scope of work changes once work has started.

Work is scheduled by agreement, by phone or WhatsApp, once a quotation has been accepted. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a confirmed booking. Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged a call-out fee where a tradesman has already been allocated to the job.

Sahil provides plumbing and electrical installation, maintenance and repair services on-site, at the client's premises. There is no shipped or delivered product associated with these services. Timeframes given for completion of work are estimates; they may change due to the condition found on site, parts availability, or access to the property.

Invoices are issued on completion of work, or at agreed milestones for larger projects. Payment is accepted by EFT or cash. This website does not process online payments; no card or online payment details are collected through sahilservices.co.za.

A client may cancel a quoted job at any time before work begins, at no charge, provided the notice periods in clause 2 are met. Once materials have been purchased for a specific job, their cost is payable by the client if the job is subsequently cancelled.

If work does not meet the standard agreed in the quotation, Sahil will return to correct it at no additional charge. Where a deposit has been paid for work that is cancelled before it begins, the deposit is refunded in full, less the cost of any materials already purchased on the client's behalf. Refunds are processed by EFT within 7 working days of the cancellation being confirmed in writing.

Certificates of Compliance are issued by an independent PIRB-registered plumbing inspector or a licensed wireman, appointed per project, following inspection of the completed work. Certification is included in the scope of work quoted, unless stated otherwise.

Sahil takes reasonable care to protect a client's property while working on-site. Sahil is liable for damage directly caused by the negligence of its tradesmen in the course of the work quoted. Sahil is not liable for pre-existing faults, defects, or damage unrelated to the work performed.
